By downloading, installing, or using BatchKit iOS application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
Sunbird Studio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for personal or internal business purposes. You may not sublicense, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the App, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
Pro features unlock via Apple In-App Purchase. Subscriptions are managed entirely within the App Store. Renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple and follow Apple's then-current refund policy. We do not collect or store your payment information.
You retain full ownership of all documents, images, and files you process with the App. You are solely responsible for the legality, copyright, and consent requirements of any content you convert, edit, or generate. The App processes files locally on your device and does not upload them to our servers.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CONVERSION OR PROCESSING RESULTS WILL BE COMPLETE, ACCURATE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
File conversion, OCR, image editing, and PDF processing are inherently lossy or imprecise operations. Output quality depends on your input files. We make no representation that results will preserve exact formatting, layout, quality, or content fidelity.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SUNBIRD STUDIO'S ENTIRE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR OTHERWISE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID TO US FOR USE OF THE APP (i.e., the amount of any Pro subscription fees paid), OR, IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID ANY FEES, ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS (US $100.00), WHICHEVER IS LESS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SUNBIRD STUDIO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
You acknowledge that the App is a tool for convenience, not a guarantee of perfect output. You are solely responsible for:
• Verifying the accuracy and completeness of any output used for official, legal, financial, or any decision-critical purposes;
• Keeping backups of your original files before processing;
• Reviewing converted documents and images before use or distribution.
You agree not to use the App to create, convert, or process content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful, or to use the App in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms.
The App, including its code, design, icons, and trademarks, is owned by Sunbird Studio or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Except as granted in these Terms, no license is granted to you.
The App runs core processing locally and does not rely on our servers for file operations. Any third-party services that may be used are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for the operation of third-party services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any term of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory consumer protection law of the jurisdiction in which you reside, that mandatory law shall prevail to the extent of the conflict. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.
